Several new feature enhancements are included in the product update released in late March 2019. The major enhancements in this release include improvements to the Day Sheet report, updates to evaluation requests, and improvements to how procedures are approved and completed.
Improvements to the Day Sheet report
The Day Sheet report (Home > Reports > Day Sheet) has been updated to optimize performance and reduce the time needed to generate results without timing out.
After you generate and view the Day Sheet report, you can now click the new Export button to export the data as an Excel .xlsx file.
Important: If the report contains a large amount of data, the report may delay for several seconds when exporting to Excel.
Note: After you export the .xlsx file, you can open it from your default downloads folder.
Evaluation requests without procedures are no longer generated
If there are no procedures associated with an appointment, an evaluation is no longer generated when the patient is seated. Also, if the provider accesses the Calendar page (Schedule > Calendar), the Request Competency Exam button does not display.
Procedures now auto-post to the Ledger when approved
When a faculty member approves a procedure completed by a student provider, it is now posted automatically to the Ledger and the Date changes to today's date.
Note: This does not prevent someone from completing a treatment that does not require approval.
Example: Faculty members can complete their own treatments without approval.
Appointment procedures may not display properly
Issue: If an appointment scheduled for today is deleted, the associated procedure may still display on the Progress Notes page under the Scheduled for today filter.
Solution: Fixed so that the procedures associated to deleted appointments do not display under the Scheduled for today filter.
Menu bar does not display properly
Issue: When the electronic prescription notifications icon displays next to the Hi menu, the menu bar may be split to display in two lines.
Solution: Fixed so that the menu bar displays as expected, regardless whether the electronic prescription notifications icon displays.
