With clinical decision support (CDS) turned on, Ascend Academic shows any associated potential treatment for a selected condition during the charting of a quick exam to help you quickly treatment plan procedures for conditions that you discover. During the charting of a quick exam, when you select a condition, the associated procedures display in alphabetical order at the top of the Treatment Plan list.
Notes:
-
Potential treatment displays during a quick exam only if you chart a condition and if that condition has associated procedures or multi-codes. Ascend Academic assigns procedures to many conditions by default, but you can customize the conditions as needed.
-
Turning CDS on or off affects everyone in your organization.
