Several new feature enhancements are included in the product update released in late February 2021. The major enhancements in this release includes new ability to assign attending providers to treatment plan approval requests and removal of treatment plan enhancement from last release.
New ability to assign attending providers to treatment plan approval requests
We have added a (new) Attending Provider field on the Request Treatment Plan Approval window (Patient > Clinical > Treatment Planner).

It's an optional field that allows student providers to assign a faculty provider to treatment plan approval requests. By assigning faculty providers, you can now search treatment plan approval requests by its attending providers on the Pending Approvals page (Home > Location > Overview).
Also, when you create a treatment plan approval request for a patient that already has a pending approval request, the Attending Provider field auto-populates the attending provider from the patient's existing approval request. As patients can only have one pending approval request, the field auto-populates for consistency. If you submit a new approval request with a different attending provider or without an attending provider, the modification is applied to the existing approval request.
Removal of a treatment plan enhancement from last release
We have removed an enhancement from Release-365-2 that allowed users to schedule appointments from all treatment plans, regardless of its status. Now, you can only schedule an appointment from treatment plan cases that are in Accepted or Pending Patient Consent status.
