Several new feature enhancements are included in the product update released in early June 2020. The major enhancements in this release include updates to the default provider field behavior in axiUm Ascend, changes to operatories, earlier inactivity timeout warning, and new automatic scroll functionality on treatment planner.
Updates to the default provider field behavior in axiUm Ascend
When a user creates a ledger entry by entering a procedure, a clinical note, perio exam, and a prescription, one of the following occurs:
-
If the user is a provider, they are assigned to the new item as the provider.
-
If the user is not a provider, the associated patient's primary provider is set as the new item's provider.
-
If the user is not a provider and the associated patient doesn't have a primary provider, the first provider on the list is assigned to the new item as the provider.
If necessary, you can always assign a different provider as the Provider fields are not locked.
Changes to operatories
The following changes have been made to operatories:
-
The Description field on the Operatories page (Settings > Location > Operatories) is no longer a required field.
-
If an operatory does not have a description, the Which Operatories filter and the Operatory column on the Search for Openings page (Schedule > Search for Openings) only displays the operatory's name.
Earlier inactivity timeout warning
Previously, axiUm Ascend displayed a Timeout warning window a minute before your session expire due to inactivity. Now, the feature has been updated to warn you five minutes before the automatic logout.
The Timeout window has also been updated to countdown from 300 seconds accordingly.
New automatic scroll functionality on treatment planner
When users click and drag visits to organize a list of visits on a patient's treatment plan case (Patient > Clinical > Treatment Planner), axiUm Ascend now automatically scrolls up and down the list accordingly.
New Patient Forms feature
Patient Forms are now available in axiUm Ascend. For more information, please contact Support.
