Several new feature enhancements are included in the product update released in early October 2019. The major enhancements in this release include improvements to the evaluation Indicator icon, improvements to evaluation request logic, added auto-focus to user accounts search field, and improvements to evaluation requests.
Improvements to the evaluations Indicator icon
When users view in-progress evaluations (Academic > Student Evaluations or Faculty Evaluations), the
icon now displays the names of faculty providers that are assigned to the evaluation and whether they have completed their copy of the evaluation.
Example: You can use the
icon to check if the faculty provider associated with the evaluation has completed their copy of the evaluation.
The icon's tooltip now includes the following:
-
The short name for each faculty provider that has started the evaluation.
Important: If a user does not have the View Contributor Names user role permission set, masked names display instead of the short names.
Example: Faculty 1
-
A check mark
icon displays beside the short name once the assigned provider has completed their copy of the evaluation.
Once all providers complete their copy of the evaluations, the
icon no longer displays.
Improvements to evaluation request logic
The evaluation request logic for sessional evaluations has been improved. When users modify the appointment provider on an appointment, any associated evaluation request that has not been started is now updated to reflect the new provider.
Notes:
-
If the new provider does not require evaluations, the evaluation request is deleted. However, if the original provider started or completed the evaluation, the evaluation is not deleted.
-
These logic changes do not apply to competency evaluations. If a provider is changed, they must still request competency evaluations manually.
Added auto-focus to user accounts search field
When users display or refresh the User Accounts page (Settings > Location > User Accounts), the cursor auto-focuses in the Search field.
Improvements to evaluation requests
Changes have been made to evaluations and the Faculty View Settings page to maintain reliability, speed, and performance.
Error message may display when moving appointments to Checkout status
Issue: When users move an appointment to Checkout status, an error message may display even though the appointment was modified successfully and the evaluation request was generated.
Solution: Fixed so that the error message does not display when an appointment moves successfully to Checkout status.
Attending provider displays incorrectly
Issue: When users remove the attending provider from an appointment and request approval for a procedure from the Patient Routing panel, the attending provider still displays in the Attending Provider field in the Submit Request for Approval window.
Solution: Fixed so that the attending provider does not display in the Submit Request for Approval window if they have been removed from the appointment.
Status changes to treatment plan cases do not save
Issue: If users generate an error by entering an invalid name in the Select phase or Edit Case name window > Name field, then attempt to change a treatment plan's status, the changed status does not save.
Solution: Fixed so that changes to the status are saved as expected.
