A new feature enhancement is included in the product update released in mid January 2019. The major enhancement in this release is an added user permission.
Added new user permission
When setting or modifying user role permissions (Settings > Location > User Roles), a new Edit Personal Details permission is now listed under the Settings Security Category. If set for a role, users with that role can edit only their own information.
Notes:

If users with the role must edit other users' information, you must set the Review Users and Edit Users permissions.

You cannot set the Edit Users permission until after you set the Review Users permission.

All existing users with the Edit Users and Review Users permissions are set the Edit Personal Details permission automatically.
