A new feature enhancement is included in the product update released in late September 2018. The major enhancement in this release includes a new calendar functionality in the Ledger.
New calendar date functionality when reporting on transactions
When setting the ledger rules (Settings> Production> Ledger Options), you must now use a new calendar date filter to select which exact day will be the cutoff date for the previous accounting period. This allows you to finalize the transactions; any transactions prior to that date are locked down and cannot be modified.
The 'rolling window' functionality that was used to post, edit, or delete procedures and transactions has been removed.
