1.1.10 Release Notes

Several feature enhancements are included in the product update released in mid September 2018. The major enhancements in this release include a new Bulk Insurance Payments module and imaging improvements.

Bulk insurance payments functionality

A new Bulk Insurance Payments module is now available from the Home menu > Insurance > Bulk Insurance Payments.

This allows you to post payments to multiple claims quickly and easily without having to open each patient's claim individually. This is helpful when insurance carriers send an office one check to cover multiple claims for multiple patients. 

Note: User accounts with Ledger rights automatically have access to the Bulk Insurance Payments module.

The Bulk Insurance Payments module also allows you to leave and return to an in-process payment, if you are interrupted during the process.

Additionally, the Audit Log records all activities related to payments made through the Bulk Insurance Payments module.

Notes:

• Users with only the Review Ledger permission can only view the Bulk Insurance Payment page.

• Users must have both the Create Payment permission and Review Insurance permission to create bulk insurance payments.

• Users with the Create Payment permission may modify and delete bulk insurance payments, but cannot modify/delete general payments or claim payments.

Imaging improvements

Direct integration is now possible with the Progeny ClearVision sensor in Imaging.

Note: The pixel sizes of the sensor are now known so when you open the Measurements tool, you are no longer required to calibrate prior to measuring.

Additionally, an auto resume feature allows you to change sensors sizes and continue without pressing pause and resume.

The Image Navigator Spotlight tool has two new modes that can help locate developing caries:

• Zoom x2

• Contrast

A new auto-repeat endo mode functionality is available for image types that allow you to select a single tooth.

Example: You can use this when you filling close to a root tip and want to repeatedly check your progress.

You can now select the Enable auto-repeat check box, you can take multiple images without clicking Recapture.

Notes: 

• Only the last image is kept and is billable.

• Any pre-op images should be captured separately.

The Net Change and Current Balance in Day Sheet report display incorrectly

Issue: When users run the Day Sheet report, the Balance as of xx/xx/2018 item line displays the net change for the last month while the Net Change item line displays the total of the Balance as of xx/xx/2018 item line amount minus the Previous Balance item line. These amounts are both incorrect.

Solution: Fixed so that the Day Sheet report displays the correct amounts for both the Balance as of xx/xx/2018 item line and the Net Change item line.

Day Sheet report generates an error

Issue: When users run the Day Sheet report, it generates an error after running for 30 seconds.

Solution: The Day Sheet report now has an extended timeout window so it does not timeout and generate an error while running.
