Several new feature enhancements are included in the product update released in late March 2021. The major enhancements in this release include updates on global insurance carrier data.
Updates on global insurance carrier data
We have updated axiUm Ascend's global insurance carrier data.
Pending evaluation request doesn't display assigned student providers that are inactive
Issue: When users view or export pending evaluation requests, the assigned student provider's name doesn't display if they student provider is inactive.
Solution: Fixed so it displays as expected.
Patient's data doesn't display when they have prescriptions with inactive providers
Issue: When users display the Patient Prescriptions page of a patient, prescriptions with inactive providers do not display. Also, when users access the patient's Chart page right after accessing the Patient Prescriptions page, the page displays a blank.
Solution: Fixed so these data display properly.
Enabled field on the Edit Procedures window
Issue: When student providers open the Edit Procedures window of an approved or completed procedure, the Class 5 field is enabled and can be edited.
Solution: Fixed so the field is disabled as expected.
Workstation's window display settings may interfere with the User Interface
Issue: When users attempt to create a new evaluation request on a computer with the window display settings set to 1902 x 1080 resolution and 150% scale, the list portion of the Pick a form section doesn't display after a student provider is set on the window.
Solution: Fixed so the windows always display at least 5 evaluation form templates and a scrollbar.
The Unsent Claims page times out for locations with large amount of unsent claims
Issue: When users access the Unsent Claims page on a location that has a large number of unsent claims, the page may time out before data are loaded on the page.
Solution: Fixed so the page no longer times out before it uploads completely.
Ledger page displays no data for patients with new payment plan
Issue: When users add and complete procedures for a patient and then create a payment plan for the patient on the Ledger page, the page displays no data.
Solution: Fixed so it displays data as expected.
Attending Provider field displays as None when requesting procedure approval
Issue: When student providers request a procedure approval on a patient's Progress Notes page for a procedure attached to today's appointment with an attending provider, the Submit Request for Approval window > Attending Provider field is set to None.
Solution: Fixed so the field displays properly as expected.
Unable to add treatment plan cases to an existing approval request
Issue: When student providers add treatment plan cases to an existing treatment plan approval request with a set attending provider, an error displays.
Solution: Fixed so student providers can add treatment plan cases as expected.
