You can use the Patient Follow-Up List to contact patients and follow up after their treatments. Appointments with the Needs Follow-Up option selected display in the Needs Follow-Up tab > Patient Follow-Up page until they are marked as having been followed up. The Complete (Last 7 Days) tab lists the appointments which required follow-up and the patients were contacted successfully within the last seven days.

How to get there

From the Schedule menu, select Patient Follow-Up.
The Patient Follow-Up page displays.

On the Patient Follow-Up page > Needs Follow-up tab, review the listed patients and appointments.
Tip: The appointments are listed in chronological order, but you can clicktap a header to sort the list by that column.

Next to each appointment, use the listed phone number to contact the patient.

When you successfully follow up with a patient, clicktap Complete for the applicable appointment.
The appointment moves from the Needs Follow-up tab to the Complete (Last 7 Days) tab.
Tips:

You can clicktap the time link of any appointment to go to that appointment on the schedule.

You can clicktap the patient name link of any appointment to go to that patient's Overview page.

If you need to move any appointments back to the Needs Follow-up tab, under the Complete (Last 7 Days) tab, locate the correct appointment and clicktap Needs Follow-Up.
