When scheduling or editing an appointment, you can set or update its status to help you and others track the appointment.
Note: The icon that represents the status displays on the appointment.
The following statuses are available:

To change an appointment status
How to get there

From the Schedule menu, select Calendar.
The Calendar page displays.

On the Calendar page, clicktap an appointment.

The Appointment Information panel displays.

From the Status drop-down list, select one of the following applicable statuses:

Late - The patient has not arrived yet, and the starting time of the appointment has passed.

Here - The patient has arrived for their appointment and is ready to check in.

Ready - The patient has checked in and is waiting to be seen.

Chair - The patient is in the operatory chair and is receiving treatment.
-
Checkout - The patient is ready to check out.

Complete - The patient's visit is complete, and they have checked out.
Note: Selecting this status also causes a new patient to change from New to Active.

Confirmed - The patient has been reminded of their upcoming appointment. When set to this status, the patient displays in the Unconfirmed Appts page > Confirmed section.

Unconfirmed - The patient has not yet been reminded of their upcoming appointment. When set to this status, the patient displays in the Unconfirmed Appts > Unconfirmed section.

Left Message - A message was left (as a voicemail or with a family member) for the patient as a reminder of their upcoming appointment. When set to this status, the patient displays in the Unconfirmed Appts > Unconfirmed section.

Unreachable - The patient either does not have sufficient contact information or has not answered any calls, texts, or emails regarding their upcoming appointment. When set to this status, the patient displays in the Unconfirmed Appts > Unconfirmed section.

Broken - The patient canceled their appointment. When set to this status, the patient displays on the Unscheduled List.
If selected, you can specify a date and time the appointment was missed, specify a reason the appointment was canceled, and reschedule the appointment.

No Show - The patient did not show up for their scheduled appointment. When set to this status, the patient displays on the Unscheduled List.
If selected, you can specify a date and time the appointment was missed, specify a reason the appointment was missed, and reschedule the appointment.
