You can change the visibility of a patient's medical alert by deciding whether or not the Medical Alerts window display whenever you access a patient's record that has the medical alert.

How to get to there

From the Patient menu, under General, select Overview.
The patient's Overview page displays.
Note: If the correct patient is not already selected, use the Patient Search field to access the patient's record.

Complete one of the following:

Next to the Patient Search field, clicktap the
icon.
Note: The
icon only displays if the patient has a medical alert. -
From the Patient menu, under General, select Medical Alerts.
The Patient Information page displays with the Medical Alerts tab selected.
Note: If the correct patient is not already selected, use the Patient Search field to access the patient's record.

Complete one of the following:

On a patient's Overview page, select a medical alert from the Medical Alerts widget.
The Patient Information page displays with the Medical Alerts tab selected and the Edit Medical Alert window open.

On a patient's Patient Information page > Medical Alerts tab, select a medical alert.
The Edit Medical Alert window displays.

Set the Show alert toggle to Yes when you want the medical alert to display whenever users access records of patients that have the medical alert. Set to No if you do not want the alert to display.
Note: When set to Yes, it displays with the
icon on the page.

ClickTap Save.
