You can add the clinical note templates that you commonly use to the list of favorites. Your favorites are associated with your user account and are available for quick access from any location when you add and edit clinical notes.
To add a clinical note template to the list of favorites
How to get there

From the Patient menu, under Clinical, select Chart.
The patient record displays with the Chart tab selected.
Tip: You can also access clinical notes from other clinical areas such as Progress Notes, Quick Exam, Perio, Imaging, or Tx Planner.
Note: If the correct patient is not already selected, use the Patient Search field to access the patient's record.

If you are not viewing the location that has the clinical note template that you want to mark as a favorite, select that location from the Location menu.
Note: Even though a clinical note template is associated with a location, once you mark that template as a favorite, you have access to it from all locations.

On a patient's clinical record > Chart tab, clicktap Clinical Notes.

Under the Templates tab, select a template category .

ClickTap a template's gray star.
The clinical note template's star changes to yellow and displays in the Favorites category.
The Add Clinical Note window displays.
