The Statement Submission Report provides insight into your billing activity. The report displays a list of patients' billing statements that you have printed in office or had handled by a third-party vendor.
To view the Statement Submission Report
How to get to there

On the Home menu, under Reports, clicktap Statement Submission Report.
The Statement Submission Report page displays.

On the Statement Submission Report page, complete the following filters as necessary:

Locations - The statement submissions for the selected locations. Complete any of the following:

To select all locations, select the All check box.

To select specific locations, clicktap the 1 of [#] location(s) selected link to display the Select Locations window and select or deselect the check boxes as necessary. When ready, clicktap Save.
Note: The window only displays locations that you have access to.

Date Range - The date or date range of statement submissions to include on the report. Complete the following:

ClickTap the Date Range field and select one of the following:

Today
-
Yesterday
-
Last 7 Days
-
This Month
-
Specific Date
-
Custom Range
-

If you selected Specific Date, select a date from the generated calendar and clicktap Done.

If you selected Custom Range, select two dates from the generated calendars and clicktap Done.

Exclude simulation patients - By default, simulation (sim) patient data is excluded. If necessary, deselect the check box to include sim patient data in the report.
Note: If the report includes sim patient data, the sim patients will display on the report with a SIM label.

ClickTap Search.

Expand a section to view details of each of the corresponding statements: the date and time, the type (patient or guarantor), the patient or guarantor's name, where it was generated (from a batch of statements, from a patient's ledger, from a patient's walkout, or using Ascend Academic's print-and-mail statement fulfillment service), and the amount due.
Note: If a section has more than 100 statements, clicktap the Show More link to list more statements.

To print the report as viewed, clicktap Print.
The report displays Third Party and Printed in Office categories. Each has a number in parentheses that indicates the number of statements of that type and a balance that equals the sum of the "Please Pay This Amount" values from those statements.
Note: The Third Party category includes all statements that were handled by a vendor.
