You can enable a provider to use ePrescriptions (eRx). Once enabled and confirmed, they may prescribe medications electronically. If the provider has access to multiple locations within an organization, ePrescription is enabled for all locations within the organization.
Notes:
-
You can enable ePrescription for providers according to your security rights.
-
Once a provider has been enabled for ePrescription, they must be confirmed by a system admin. It may take up to 24 hours to complete the request.
Tip: When enabling an existing provider for ePrescription, we recommend you review all user settings to ensure the provider is set up without error.
