Using the evaluation dashboard

The Academic Progress page contains an evaluation dashboard that allows faculty providers and clinical directors to monitor user groups and students by observing data on completed evaluations.

Important: The evaluation dashboard only displays for faculty providers and administrators.

Note: You need the Evaluate Other Users' Evaluation Requests security right to access the Academic Progress page.

Tip: You can use the Completion Date filter to limit student progress to a specified date range. When set, all progress data such as procedure counts and % of completion rate are recalculated based on the evaluation completion date. Evaluations are considered complete when all required questions have been answered by the required number of evaluators.

To use the evaluation dashboard

How to get there

From the Academic menu, clicktap Student Progress.

The Academic Progress page displays.

On the Academic Progress page, review the tabs as necessary:
- Overview
  This tab contains several widgets that summarize the student progress for the faculty members at a glance:
  - Procedure Counts Completion Rate % Group Comparison: Shows a percentage generated by the number of students that have completed the required amount of procedures in that category over the total number of students for each user group.
  - Procedure Counts by Category: Indicates a group's completion rates across a variety of categories.
  - Proficiency Progress Summary by Student: Indicates overall completion rates for individual students and the number of passes and fails so far in the program.
    
    Note: The Completion Rate column reflects a student's overall progress through the course, while the Pass/Fail columns indicate how a student scored during specific evaluations.
  - # of Fails by Student: Indicates how many failed evaluations individual students in a selected group have according to the type of evaluation and type of category.
- Proficiency Progress
  
  This tab displays the Proficiency Progress report and allows you to display user groups and view each member's progress on their completed evaluations (competency and sessional evaluations), based on your location's progress summary categories setup. You can use the report to gain a detailed idea on how students are passing or failing their evaluations.
- Procedure Counts
  
  This tab displays the Procedure Counts table and allows you to display user groups and view each member's total number of completed procedures on specific categories.
- Student Performance
  
  This tab displays the Progress Summary report and offers faculty a detailed summary of student progress in completing their evaluations. The report includes all students that have access to the logged in user's location.
  
  Note: Although the full evaluation dashboard only displays for faculty providers and administrators, this report also displays as the Progress Summary for Students page to students and indicates their specific progress in completing their evaluations.
  
  The report can be used to review and track a student's work, review the assigned faculty's comments, and view detailed information of an evaluation, including date and time of the evaluation and the submitted evaluation(s).
