You can view, print, or export a deposit slip from a specified date or date range. The deposit slip may include cash, check, credit card payments from patients, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), medical payments from insurance carriers, and CareCredit and Grant payments. The deposit slip also displays totals for each type of payment.
To run the deposit slip report
How to get there

From the Home menu, under Reports, clicktap Deposit Slip Report.
The Deposit Slip Filter page displays.

On the Deposit Slip Report page, review the report's filters.
Tip: The page displays the filter settings from your last usage.

Set the filters as necessary:

ClickTap the Period field and select an entry to determine which date or date range of transactions to include on the report.
Note: The field defaults to today's date.

If you selected Specific Date, select a date from the calendar that displays and clicktap Done.

If you selected Custom Range, select two dates from the calendar that displays and clicktap Done.

Next to Run by, select a radio button:

Transaction date - The report will include transactions with service dates within the set date range.

Modified date period - The report will include transactions with last modified dates within the set date range, and will only display the most recent transaction data for those set dates.

Under Payment methods, select the check box for each payment type you want to include or select the All check box.

From the Cash Box drop-down list, select a single cash box or select All to include all cash boxes in the report.
Note: When previewed or printed, the selected cash box(es) display with the location in the report header.

Next to Locations, select the check box for each location you want to view in the deposit slip or select the All check box.
Note: If all locations are selected, (All) will display in the report's location header.

Select the Include Summary check box to include summaries from all locations you have access to.

Deselect the Exclude simulation patients check box to include sim patient data in the report.
Note: By default, simulation (sim) patient data is excluded. If the report includes sim patient data, the sim patients will display on the report with a SIM label.
Tip: If you need a deposit report with more filter options, you can generate a Deposit Report instead.

(Optional) ClickTap Preview to view the deposit slip based on the set filters.
When the Deposit Slip report previews, you can view:

The list of locations included in the report.

The payment details for each location included in the report.

The payment totals for each location included in the report.

The payment total for all locations included in the report.
Note: If all locations are selected and the Include Summary check box is selected, the payment total for all selected locations does not display.

(Optional) ClickTap Print to generate the deposit slip as a .pdf file on a new tab.

(Optional) ClickTap Export to generate the results as an Excel file.
Note: The file is saved to your Downloads folder and is named deposit slip report.xlsx. If a file with the same names exists in that location, the new file will have a bracketed number appended to it (for example, deposit slip report (1).xlsx).
Note: Depending on the report date range and the number of records that must be checked, it may take 1 - 5 minutes for the report to load. If you leave the page before the report loads, you will have to regenerate the report.
