You can update a lab case that is attached to an appointment, including its status to track when you have received the lab results from the lab.
To update a lab case from an appointment
How to get there

From the Schedule menu, select Calendar.
The Calendar page displays.

On the Calendar page, clicktap an appointment with a lab case attached to it.
Note: An appointment with a lab case has the
icon or the
icon. The Appointment Information panel displays.

ClickTap the Lab Case tab.

Update the following fields as necessary:

Due - Change the due date.
Note: The due date cannot be after the appointment date.

Lab name - Complete one of the following:

Add a new lab.

Enter the name of the lab in the field and clicktap Create Lab.
The Create Lab window displays.

Enter the lab's name and phone number in the appropriate fields.

ClickTap Create.

Select a different lab.
-
Enter the name of the lab and select it from the search results.

Edit the lab's name and/or phone number.

ClickTap the
icon next to the field. The Edit Lab window displays.

Modify the lab's name and phone number in the appropriate fields.

ClickTap Save.

Status - Set the field to Outstanding if the lab work hasn't been received from the lab, or set the field to Received to indicate the lab work has been received from the lab.

Note - Enter any additional notes regarding the lab case.
Tip: You can clicktap Insert Date to add today's date where the text cursor is located in the field.

ClickTap Save.
