Printing Insurance Claims

Every time an insured patient receives treatment, you should promptly create a dental insurance claim for the treatment. While most claims are sent electronically, Ascend Academic allows you to print claims when needed. When a claim is printed, the following three events occur: a PDF of the claim is created, the status of the claim is changed to Printed, and the claim can now be found in Sent Claims (from the Home menu).

• If you plan to submit an electronic claim and want a printed copy, submit it electronically first and then print the claim from Sent Claims.
