Adding a New Household

It’s great when a new family joins your practice. Ascend Academic lets you capture the minimum information for the entire household all in one screen, making your initial data entry really fast.

Additional Information

• The reason it’s so important to check for an existing patient is because once a patient record is created in the system, it cannot be deleted.

• In the Create New Household window, the X icon at the end of the patient name row will allow you to delete that household member before you clicktap Save.

• If a patient in a household prefers to receive their own reminders, you can configure it in the Patient Information page under Related Patients.
