Managing Patient Medical Alerts

When patients come in for their appointments, it's important to know if they have a medical alert. Ascend Academic allows you to add medical alert and specify which you want to auto-generate as a window on your screen when you access the patient's record. This gives you the ability to know right away when there is an important issue the doctor needs to be aware of.

Additional Information

• You can't delete expired medical alerts. If an alert is accidentally expired, it should be recreated.

• Medical alerts can be added in the settings menu if you’d like to add an alert that will be used frequently.
