If given the correct permissions, clinic coordinators and administrators can customize the evaluation view settings for each faculty provider that handles evaluations at your institution. These settings determine which evaluations display when faculty access the Faculty Evaluations page > My Pending Evaluations tab and search for evaluations.
You can customize by editing a faculty provider's view settings or applying an existing view settings to other faculty provider(s).
Notes:

The view settings don't apply to the Student Evaluation Search page.

If necessary, faculty members can still alter their view settings display by using the View Settings button on the Faculty Evaluations page.

You can customize the evaluation view settings according to your security rights for Academic Evaluations.
To customize view settings for faculty
How to get there

From the Settings menu, under Evaluations, clicktap Faculty View Settings.
The Faculty View Settings page displays.

On the Faculty View Settings page, review the faculty members listed under the Faculty List.
Note: The Faculty List includes all faculty members that are set to evaluate students.

Select a listed faculty member to display their view settings.
Important: If you do not have the Review User security right, the Faculty List displays no data.

Complete one of the following:

Customize a faculty provider's view settings.

Select the appropriate radio button.
-
Assign to me - If selected, only their assigned evaluations display.
Notes:
-
They are assigned to all evaluations that have them set as the attending provider on the appointment.

If selected, the location, discipline, and the group filters are disabled.
-
You can also clicktap Restore Defaults to select this radio button.

Custom settings - If selected, the location, discipline, and group filters are enabled, allowing you to modify as necessary.

Under Location, select the check box next to each location you want to include in the faculty's view.

Under Discipline, select the check box next to each discipline you want to include in the faculty's view.

From the Group drop-down list, select one of the following:

By Student Group

By Operatory Group

Under Group, select the check box next to each group you want to include in the faculty's view.

ClickTap Save Changes.
The changes are saved and the Apply Settings window displays.

Apply an existing view settings to others.
-
ClickTap Apply to.
Note: If a Save Changes button display instead, the faculty provider's view settings have not been saved since the update on March 13th, 2020. To display the Apply to button, save the provider's view settings.
The Apply Settings window displays.

Select the Select All check box or select the check box next to each faculty provider you want to apply these settings to and clicktap Apply.
Tip: You can use the Search by faculty name field to locate faculty members quickly.
When saved, the faculty provider(s) will see the changes when they next log in to Ascend Academic or reopen the Faculty Evaluations page. If the faculty provider(s) are currently working with evaluations when changes are made, an alert displays, informing them that their view settings have been updated and they should refresh the page.
