You can edit a bulk insurance payment as necessary.

A change to a bulk insurance payment displays in the audit log.

Simulation (sim) patients display with a SIM label.
To edit a bulk insurance payment
How to get there

From the Home menu, under Insurance, select Bulk Insurance Payments.
The Bulk Insurance Payments page displays.

On the Bulk Insurance Payments page, select a bulk insurance payment.
Claims associated with the bulk insurance payment display.

Click Tap Edit Bulk Payment to open the Edit Bulk Insurance Payment window.

From the Payment Information tab, change any of the fields as necessary:

Payment date - Enter a different payment date. According to your organization's policy, this may be the date that the check was issued, deposited, recorded, or when the electronic funds transfer (EFT) was authorized, transferred, or recorded.

Amount - Enter the payment amount.

Check # / Reference # - Depending on the selected payment type, enter the check number or the EFT reference number.

Bank / Branch # - Enter your office's bank account number.
Note:?This field is only available if the Payment type field is set to Check.

Click Tap Next or select the Select Claims tab.
The Select Claims tab lists outstanding claims for the selected carrier.
Note: Claim payments that are already posted display with the
icon. -
Select the check box(es) of claim(s) that will receive the change(s). If you don't want to apply the change(s) to specific claim(s), deselect its' check box(es).
Important: Changes will be applied to posted claim payments automatically.

Click Tap Next or select the Summary tab.
A list of claim(s) that will receive the change(s) display.

Click Tap Save.
