You can restore a single image or a series of images that has been deleted from a patient's record previously. You can also restore any deleted images that are associated with a specific slot in a series.
To restore deleted images
How to get to there

From the Patient menu, underClinical , select Imaging.
The patient record displays with the Imaging tab selected.
Tip: You can also access imaging from other clinical areas such as Chart, Progress Notes, Quick Exam, Perio, or Tx Planner.
Note: If the correct patient is not already selected, use the Patient Search field to access the patient's record.

On the patient's record > Imaging tab, clicktap the Imaging tab's menu and select Show Image History.
The patient's imaging page opens to the history view, and the most recent image or image set (such as a full mouth series or bitewings) is selected by default on the Images tab.

Complete one of the following:

To restore an image or an entire series.

ClickTap in the Narrow down the results field to view the available filters.

Select the Show Deleted check box or clicktap the Show everything link.

ClickTap the X in the upper-right corner of or anywhere outside of the Narrowing Down the Results menu to close the menu.
Tip: In the image list, Deleted - displays before the name of a deleted image or series to help you easily distinguish between deleted images and normal images.

Select a deleted image or a series (such as a full mouth series or bitewings).

On the corresponding options menu, clicktap Undelete exam.
The Deleted - is removed from before the name of the image or series.

To restore images within a series.

Select a series (such as a full mouth series or bitewings).

Under Image Navigator, clicktap an empty box. If any deleted images are associated with the selected slot, the Undelete Images button becomes available.

ClickTap Undelete Images.
The View Deleted Images window displays.

To restore the displayed image, clicktap Undelete Image.

(Optional) If there are multiple deleted images, clicktap the
buttons to navigate between the images and repeat Step d.

To restore images within a stack.
-
Select a series (such as a full mouth series or bitewings).

If you have selected a series, under Image Navigator, clicktap an image of that series.
If any deleted images are associated with the selected template slot, the Undelete Images button becomes available.

ClickTap Undelete Images.
The View Deleted Images window displays.

To restore the displayed image, clicktap Undelete Image.

(Optional) If there are multiple deleted images, clicktap the
buttons to navigate between the images and repeat Step d.
