You can customize the view settings of the Ledger page.
To customize the ledger view
How to get there

From the Patient menu, under Financial, select Ledger.
The patient's Ledger page displays.
Tip: You can also access the Ledger page from the patient's Overview page > Ledger widget.
Note: If the correct patient is not already selected, use the Patient Search field to access the patient's record.

On a patient's Ledger page, clicktap the View menu.

Select a Sort by radio button:

Transaction date - If selected, transactions are listed in chronological order.
Tip: You can clicktap the Date column header to specify ascending or descending.

Statement - If selected, transactions are grouped according to the date of service. Procedures, claims, adjustments, and payments associated with a certain date of service display together. Also, a column with the running balance displays.

Select a View Mode radio button:

Patient - If selected, transactions are listed for only the patient.

Guarantor - If selected, transactions are listed for the patient and guarantor. Transactions for a given patient with the same date of service are grouped together.

(Optional) ClickTap the Show transaction history and Show transaction time toggles to set to Yes to view transaction revisions on the ledger.

(Optional) ClickTap the Auto-scroll to recent transactions toggle to set to Yes to scroll to the most recent transaction each time you access a patient's ledger.
Note: This option is only available if the Sort by option is set to Statement.

Select a Date range radio button:

All history - If selected, all transactions are listed.

Since last "0" balance - If selected, transactions are listed starting when the account last had a zero balance.
Note: This option is only available if the selected Sort by option is set to Statement.

From: - If selected, transactions are listed only within a specified date range and the Show Applied and Remaining Amount columns check box displays on the Ledger page.

ClickTap Done.

(Optional) Select the Show Applied and Remaining Amount columns check box to view payments and the remaining balance of each procedure.
The payment's amount displays in the Applied column, and the remaining balance after payment displays in the Remaining column.
Note: The check box only displays if the page is set to display procedures within a date range.
