Scheduling Related Patients

Through a patient's Patient Information ribbon, you can check whether the patient's related patients have any upcoming appointments, and schedule appointments for them. This allows you to quickly schedule appointments for an entire family without opening each patient's file.

Additional Information

• In the Related Patients drop-down list, clicktap an appointment to open the patient's existing appointment.

• When you clicktap a patient's icon, Ascend Academic navigates to the Calendar with the new appointment's Appointment Information panel open. By default, the related patient's appointment date and time is set closest to the selected patient's upcoming appointment.
