The Billing Type custom pick list allows you to define which entries your institution charges to.
If you have permissions, you can add billing types to the Billing Type custom pick list.
Note: You can manage pick lists according to your security rights for Custom Pick Lists.
To add a billing type
How to get there

From the Settings menu, under Location, select Custom Pick Lists.
The Custom Pick Lists page opens.

Under Available Pick Lists, clicktap Patient and clicktap Billing Type.
The Edit - Patient Billing Type panel opens.

ClickTap Add Billing Type to open the Create a New Billing Type window.

In the Billing Type field, enter the shortened name.

In the Description field, enter the full name.

(Optional) Select the Set as default check box to make this the default billing type.

ClickTap Add.
