You can quickly apply an insurance payment for each claim that is associated with the bulk insurance payment.

You can apply insurance payments according to your security rights for the Ledger.

To apply a bulk insurance payment
How to get there

From the Home menu, under Insurance, select Bulk Insurance Payments.
The Bulk Insurance Payments page displays.

On the Bulk Insurance Payments page, select an in process bulk insurance payment.
Claims associated with the bulk insurance payment display.

Select a claim from the left-hand panel to view its details.

ClickTap Enter Claim Payment to display the Enter Claim Payment window.

Enter the payment details as you normally would for an insurance payment and clicktap Save.
Note: Due to the nature of bulk insurance payments, the window does not have a Type or Claim field.
The payment is added and the page updates to include the payment.

On the left panel, a
icon displays on the claim to indicate the claim's insurance payment has been posted. -
You can also view information on the payment and any applicable adjustment in the patient's Ledger. You can generate the patient's Ledger as a separate browser tab by clickingtapping the Go to Ledger link in the upper-right corner of the page.

You can edit the insurance payment on this page or the Ledger. Any changes made to the payment on the Ledger is reflected in the bulk insurance payment.

ClickTap Next Claim. Repeat Steps 3-4 until you have applied the bulk insurance payment to all associated claims and the Remaining amount is listed as $0.00.

ClickTap Finalize Bulk Payment.
Note: This is only available if you have posted an insurance payment for each associated claim.

When prompted to confirm, clicktap Finalize.
The bulk insurance payment is removed from the Bulk Insurance Payments page.
