Ascend Academic includes default acquisition sequences for acquiring patient images. In some cases, you may want to change the order you acquire patient images. For example, in the case of acquiring a full mouth series, you may want to capture images in the anterior areas first and then capture images in the posterior areas to improve patient comfort. In cases like this, you’ll need to customize the acquisition sequence. The sequence tells the system how you intend to start, proceed, and end your image captures.
