You can delete a recare type that is not attached to any patient's record.
To delete a recare type
How to get to there

From the Settings menu, under Patient Care, clicktap Recare.
The Recare Setup page displays.

On the Recare Setup page, select a recare type on the left panel.
The options for editing the recare type become available.

ClickTap Delete.
A confirmation message displays.
Important: If the recare type is already assigned to a patient, the Delete button will be disabled. If disabled, the button will display with a
icon. If you clicktap the icon, a tooltip displays that explains why the recare type can't be deleted. -
ClickTap Delete.
